Buying a Thompson submachine gun

The Thompson or Tommy Gun has been around for going on 100 years. It's been well known by gangsters of the 1920s and 30s as well as some of our military usage in World War II. The firearm is named after its inventor John T Thompson. He was a prolific military man who wanted nothing but the us to win and so he created a firearm to help men but to most knowledge it was beyond people's comprehension.
What makes the gun so useful it's it's fast reload time and firing there aren't too many
guns that can fire upwards of a thousand rounds per minute like the Thompson submachine gun is rated for. At one point there was a general who is in charge of gun sales who stated that the Thompson was useless because it would do nothing but waste bullets. It didn't see action in World War one but in World War II when Warfare change its so a lot of usage and people started calling it the broom or the trench gun.

Even though John T Thompson is now long gone and his company is gone the firearm is still manufactured by Century Arms you can purchase one brand new today or you can order one from their website. These guns are old school there about 20 pounds full metal but that'll save you a recoil as your firing the 45 acp round.
I wouldn't recommend this gun to a novice and for one the price range of the gun buying ammunition and accessories for it kind of puts the gun in the class of a wealthy person's firearm or someone who's very very very well off. You don't really seem any in collections or rather your average collection because like I said with the gun coming in at $1,400 most people cannot afford it. Ammunition for the 45 ACP currently is at $0.50 around a big difference from $0.17 for 22.
The question is can you afford it and if so I'm telling you that they're available online at places like Bud's Gun Shop and impact guns. You can find them between the price range of $1,000 and upwards of $2,500 for custom cases. Hickok45 blessed us with one of his review videos and was on the ball with it so I feature one below. The other so many places that actually keep Thompson submachine guns in stock but for the most part they are available online or you can go to their website here and find out the nearest dealer in your area.
