Buying a Springfield xdm competition

If you're looking for a right out of the box competition firearm let's take a look at the Springfield XDM Competition line. The company was gracious to manufacturer the gun in 9mm, 40 cal and 45 acp. Right out of the box means the gun comes with all the legal features that allow you to shoot competitively. With no gunsmith needed to adjust the trigger, or change the barrel the gun is ready "right out of the box".

We're talking about a full-size gun here people. Because of the magazine capacity I'd say this xdm line could be used for home defense. You get 19 rounds in the 9mm. The 40 cal mag holds
16 rounds and 13 rounds in the 45 acp version. Specs for the competition line are everything you'd expect. A cut out in the slide allows for faster cycling of rounds. An adjustable rear sight and fiber optic front sight allows for faster sight acquisition. Springfield lists all the specs here on their site. There really isn't much to be said about these guns. They we're built for a specific interest. To be an economically efficient competition handgun. So....you can pay a couple of grand for a custom gun to shoot with, or you can get a Springfield XDM Competition for under $800.00 it's your choice.
